Fraser Falcons Wrap Up Training Camp Ahead of Inaugural MIHL Season
FRASER, Mich. — The Fraser Falcons officially concluded training camp on September 20, putting the finishing touches on an important step toward the start of the 2026-27 season.
Throughout camp, the Falcons came ready to work. Players competed, pushed the pace and began building the chemistry the organization hopes will carry into the regular season. For a roster featuring a combination of returning players and new additions, camp provided the opportunity to begin bringing everything together.
It also meant plenty of familiar faces returning to the ice at Big Boy Arena.
For Assistant Captain Josh Osantowski, getting back in the rink alongside several players from last year's championship team made the start of camp even more meaningful.
"Coming back to the rink and reuniting with some of the guys from last year's championship team was nice," Osantowski said. "We picked up where we left off."
That familiarity was evident throughout camp, but the focus wasn't on looking back. The Falcons used the weekend to establish expectations for the season ahead while giving the team's newest additions an opportunity to settle into the group.
From the first skate to the final whistle on September 20, the message was simple: work hard, compete and come together as a team.
With training camp now in the books, the Falcons turn their attention toward the regular season and their inaugural home opener on October 10 against the Findlay Force at Big Boy Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The work has started. The chemistry is building.
Now, it's almost time to drop the puck.
Let’s Falcon Go!
